16th June 2012
Windsurfing: Felixstowe Dip
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: 25-32kts
Surf / Sea State: big waves close
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: OK
Weather: Sun
Max Speed: 22.4 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 11.4 km (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Big Saturday lived up to its name, arrived 1.00 and loads out, on 4.5 5.0's sea was big at half tide and car park full.
Def'wave head day, rigged 5.0 (now has a poxy hole) / Mistral SL 114L. The gusts were big on the languard meter showed 32kts, and was too much for my 5.0 despite setting so flat the leach flutter was deafing.
Was never comfortable, and really need 4.5 or 4.7 wave sail, depowered. The sea was better on the low tide and coming back in was great, but going out was hard, as I never allowed the board to go broad, alway heading up wind to lose speed. Didn't do one gybe clean.
Sea was definately sailable and OK on low tide but the wind was just too much for 5.0, so packed up after 1/2 hr - Ebay here I come I guess :)
Most had a great day except me DC again trying to hang on to 5.6 race sail with his 111 Isonic and the infamous Naish pig! in bloody great waves. If ever a board was aptly named Jesus this has to be it! what a horrible board!
cant take the P too much, as he is giving me some nice stickers for the hole in the 5.0
